DEFINITION THROUGH CONSORTIUM

November 29, 2018

On November 13, 2018, the Sarcopenia Definitions and Outcomes Consortium (SDOC) held a conference in Boston, MA to share its work on developing an evidence-based consensus definition of sarcopenia. The SDOC was formed to develop and evaluate diagnostic cut-points for low muscle mass and muscle strength that predicts increased risk of mobility disability and health outcomes. This year’s meeting brought together an International Expert Panel to vote on key position statements for a consensus-based definition of the condition. This webinar is a recap of the SDOC meeting with its organizers.
